Engagement
We have an engagement plan that ensures our furloughed employees remain involved to the extent that when normal work resumes, we will be able to 'pick up where we left off'.
CELEBRATIONS & POSITIVE NEWS
THANK YOU FROM THE FELIX PROJECT

The Felix Project has sent their thanks to The Argyll Club for fundraising via our London2London charity challenge.
They are incredibly grateful for our £6,898.94 donation (including Gift Aid), and would like this to go towards their general operation delivering up to 37,944 meals.
Here is an update on their operation and the impact it’s having on the London community:
The Felix Project has delivered nearly 3.4 million meals to hundreds of thousands of vulnerable Londoners since lockdown.
• They have joined forces with FareShare and CityHarvest to form the ‘London Food Alliance’ which has delivered six million meals across London since the end of May.
• TFP was chosen by the Evening Standard as the food partner for the ‘Food for London Now’ campaign, an appeal to raise £10m to help The Felix Project tackle hunger in London over the next three years.
• By the end of May, the appeal reached £5.5m and fundraising continues to ensure they can meet demand now and plan for long-term support of communities on a large scale across the whole of London.
• Once this crisis is over, they will develop permanent plans to increase the amount of food they deliver to meet the need of 1 in 5 adult Londoners and 400,000 children at risk of food poverty.
What amazing stats about the work The Felix Project has been doing to feed London throughout this crisis! Well done again to everyone who got involved.
COMMUNITY

After the success of the London2London charity initiative, we are now looking for ideas for the next community based initiative.
What ways could our employees volunteer their time to help make the city a better place?
Do you know of a local or London based organisation/charity than needs our support?
Have you been involved in similar activities before?
Submit your ideas and suggestions to training@theargyllclub.com
